Gestalt Training,  like our therapy, is both humanistic and experiential, combining a stimulating academic program with a strong emphasis on learning by doing.  At the heart of our program is the use of small practicum groups in which students get to experience and practice live therapy, in the presence of a supportive supervisor.

Students also get to observe live demonstrations by faculty therapists. We are supportive of students' individual needs and students are assigned advisors who follow them throughout the entire program.

Highlights of our Training Programs

  • Small group training

  • Live demo by faculty member

  • Expert supervision

    • Live practicum supervision

    • Weekly case supervision

  • Each student has a faculty advisor

  • Strong sense of community

  • Intimate setting for intense learning and personal growth

Admission

Admission is open to all qualified candidates regardless of race, religion, ethnic or national origin, sexual orientation or gender identity. We particularly encourage and support diversity in our faculty and our students.

Hybrid Learning

In response to our ever changing world, we are now using a hybrid learning format. Some of our classes will be taught online and some in person.

Scholarships

The M’Lou Caring Diversity Scholarship program is intended to promote in our student body diversity of race, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ability, age, looks, socio-economic status, citizenship status, as well as other forms of diversity outside of our current awareness. This program will award one or more partial scholarships for our training programs. Donations for the scholarship fund are accepted below.

Fees

Besides tuition, there are fees for supervision, room and board for our intensive weekend trainings, and personal therapy, which is required of all students.

Payment Plans

Monthly payment plans are available.

Application Process

Applications may be submitted throughout the year and will be processed and acted upon within a month of their submission. Since we do have small class sizes, we encourage you to apply early to reserve your spot in the next class. Candidates may enter in September or February.
